The food is outstanding. The service is impeccable. When you come here, you really feel comfortable. You don't have to dress up, but it is a really nice place. The atmosphere is really nice and comfortable. When you come here, you really feel comfortable, like home. My favorite thing off the menu is the breakfast burrito. It is a cheesy omelet with veggies, topped with salsa, and it comes with a side of sour cream, which I always like to get extra. If you haven't tried the breakfast burrito at Ruthie's, I suggest you do! *update Nov. 2019 so we went to Ruthie's for Thanksgiving, and we were glad we did! We had made a reservation. From the moment we got there to the time we left, the staff were on point! We never felt like we had to wait to long for anything. The food was served rather quickly, and it was hot and delicious! We got the Turkey dinner, but they did have a few 'Thanksgiving' dinner choices, like a ham dinner, and a seafood dinner in addition to the Turkey one. And, they even handed us a regular menu, so we could order anything we want! We went with the turkey, as pictured. The red table wine was good, and my husband had a dark beer that he enjoyed. We will definitely do Thanksgiving again here! It was inexpensive too, I think around 17$ a person for the Turkey dinnah anyway. :)
Great food and prices! Bigger menu with cheaper prices! Fast good service. Stopped in here for a try and after we saw the menu selections and prices we decided to come here again for meals while on our vacation. Out of the places we have tried in town this is our favorite, not just because of the prices and service but the bigger selection on the menu and the taste! Thank you.
We had a great stay at the Hotel Terrace. My wife is a stickler for cleanliness and remarked at how clean the room was. All the staff were friendly and there's good food at the cozy restaurant. Outstanding value! A+
A great place to stay in every way.The rooms are super clean thanks to Karen.April was there whenever needed and on top of everything.Walkable to anywhere. We have been staying there for years whenever we climb Katahadin and Hotel Terrace is part of the great experience. Thank-you for being there year after year.
So I come up all the way from Charlottesville VA and was welcomed by great staff and the room was clean and in order. It feels like the comforts of home and not a big chain hotel. This is a outstanding place to stay and well worth the 87.00 it is. The also have a restaurant attached to the hotel with outstanding food get the lobster dog basket! I travel a lot and this is the best hotel to stay at!
We received a very warm welcome by Karen. The room is perfect and the price so good vs other place closer to here for higher cost.. Why paid more when you have better for low cost. It's clean and room have good dimension. Bed very confortable...
Absolutely love this hotel! Beds and pillows are so comfortable. They feel so clean and smell good. The service is superb, the owner was so kind to us and Karen was super nice, helpful and friendly to us as well. The restaurant in the motel has excellent food. There’s a whole array of tasty options to choose from on the menu. I got a quesadilla which was 10/10 would recommend and the burgers and fries were also so good. The fries seemed like the crispy homemade fries, so good. Also, snowmobile trails start right at the parking lot so amazing location for anyone snowmobiling. Baxter state park just a short ride away with amazing views and snowmobile trails to die for. Price also very reasonable. Plenty of outlets to charge devices and all around great room and service! Nothing too fancy, but comfortable and welcoming. Would totally recommend, thank you to Karen and the owner for awesome, real service.

We did not stay here, but merely had dinner as recommend by the owner of a local campground. The food was great. Home cooked. Server was very pleasant and catered to all our needs. The place is clean and close to most other places to stay. If we stay in the area again, we'll def stop here for a meal.
Great little place. The room was clean and Karen was really nice checking us in. It's a little dated but that didn't affect our stay. It would be nice if there was cable or the ability to log on to streaming services, but we were able to find something to watch even without it. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked great. Water pressure was awesome and the water temperature heated up nicely! Just a short walk to downtown Millinocket. Definitely would consider staying here again.
